The motorway crosses the wide valley with two parallel viaducts, 307m long over ten spans.
The superstructures of the viaducts were built using the incremental launching technique. Due to relatively moderate lengths of spans of 32m, the solution of straight prestressing tendons in box girder lower slab was chosen for accommodating the influences caused by live loads. The advantages of the incremental launching method are high speed of construction, low environmental impact during construction, easier construction over traffic infrastructure as well as more robust, higher quality and more sustainable structures.
